The weekly Flip
One of my first solo projects was working with the comics team to refresh their Weekly Flip asset. The goal was to create something new and eye-catching while building a flexible template that could adapt to a wide range of comic covers.
The animation was distributed to comic shops and played in-store. It was well received enough that the social team requested an additional ratio, allowing the piece to be repurposed for social stories alongside the standard feed.
This redesign became a common reference for many future projects and was even repurposed for a Daredevil marketing push.

One word: versions. Versions. Versions.
Great design rarely happens in a single pass. Behind every polished final product are rounds of exploration, testing, and refinement.
Adjacent is a look at the revision process behind the final Marvel Unlimited subscriber email receipt, including the three strongest alternatives that were tested through A/B testing.
Once finalized, these designs were handed off to the development team for implementation. To support a smooth build process, I provided detailed specifications including font choices, sizing, and layout guidance.
Take a look below to see how the concepts evolved and how we arrived at the final experience.
Connecting With the Audience
Connecting with fans and building meaningful engagement was an everyday part of the job.
Adjacent is an example of a typical marketing push and the collection of assets created to support it. For the launch of Infinity Paws (a personal favorite — and a great entry point into comics for younger readers), the goal was to introduce audiences to a new series and create a path from discovery to readership.
The campaign began with an email designed to capture the comic’s branding and introduce the story. From there, we created a character-focused experience to help readers connect with the cast and encourage them to dive into the series. Finally, social assets extended the campaign’s reach, building awareness and engagement with the larger Marvel audience.

Social and Story Telling
Marvel is a company built on storytelling. With a library of over 30,000 comics and counting, a key part of connecting with our audience was finding meaningful ways to highlight the stories, characters, and moments that mattered most.
My role was to transform these stories into engaging social content — creating eye-catching visual snippets that captured fan interest, encouraged exploration within the Marvel Unlimited app, and built excitement around upcoming projects and film releases.
By adapting comic storytelling into accessible digital experiences, these assets helped bridge the gap between longtime fans and new audiences discovering Marvel.
